Shakespeare's Secret |
Hero Netherfield's parents adore Shakespeare. They even named her after a character in Shakespeare's play, Much Ado About Nothing. But when her neighbor, Ms. Mariam Roth, tells Hero about a valuable diamond that has some sort of connection to Shakespeare's family tree is hidden somewhere in her new house, she won't stop looking until it's back in its rightful place. But that's not the only problem Hero has to face. At her new school, Hero must adjust to bullies, friends, harassment, and the sudden attnetion of the coolest boy in school. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Communication Arts or Drama. Jacob |
Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach is the book I read. The book is about a girl named Hero. She lives with her mom, dad, and sister. She moves a lot and doesn't have many friends. She goes to a neighbor's to return something. While she's there, the neighbor tells her about a diamond that might be hidden on her property. Hero meets a boy named Danny. He knows her neighbor and the story about the diamond too. Together, will they find the diamond? It was interesting and entertaining. I would recommend this book to others. Sumejja |
