Read Across America

Read Across America

Read Across America was created to get students excited about reading. Can you think of a better day to celebrate this than March 3rd, Dr. Seuss's birthday? Theodor "Ted" Seuss Geisel was born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. His love of reading is shown through his interesting characters and engaging books. We have many activities planned to make this day special at Bayless Intermediate.

Seuss Hat

Please plan on joining us on Monday, March 3rd at 1:00-1:20 for our Read Across Bayless Intermediate. Bring a book and read with us during that time. We hope to see you there!

Seuss Hat

We are also going to have Crazy Hat Day! The students and staff will wear a Dr. Seuss hat or their favorite crazy hat.

Seuss Hat

All students and staff will write their favorite book title, author, and their name on a Dr. Seuss hat. We are going to hang these in the hall for everyone to see.
