The Lightning Thief
| Book Talk: Trouble always seems to find Percy Jackson. He has been kicked out of numerous schools, but that is the least of his worries. When Percy is 12, his class goes on a field trip. Among the Greek artifacts, Percy is forced to fight his first monster who also was his teacher. Percy finds out that his father is Poseidon and he is a half blood. The Greek gods are alive and trouble is brewing. Zeus's lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Percy must find the lightning bolt and return it to Zeus to clear his name.
