This book is called The Kingdom Keepers, and it is by Ridley Pearson (who, by the way, lives in St. Louis). This book is about five teens named Finn, Maybeck, Philby, Willa, and Charlene who are tapped as models at Disney World with a new cutting edge technology called Disney Host Interactive (DHI), which also stands for Daylight Hallogram Imaging. They are also guides who guide people through the park. But on the first page of the book when the main character, Finn, wakes up on a bench in Disneyworld at night, and meets and elderly worker named Wayne who tells Finn that the characters inside the park come ot life at night, finn can't help wandering if it's all real or it's just a dream. Finn soon discovers that it's all real. When he goes to bed, not just him, but all of the other DHIs cross over to Disneyworld at night. Wayne sends them on a mission to find the Stonecutter's Quill which is Walt Disney's first pen, before the evil witch, Maleficent, does. In his own words, Ridley Pearson describes this book as: "This book is dedicated to anyone and everyone who ever wondered what happens when the gates are closed and the lights go out."
