Jackie's Wild Seattle
| Book Talk: Would you know what to do if you found a hawk tangled in a net at a golf course? What about finding a wild coyote in a downtown elevator? Or an injured baby seal in danger of drowning when the tide comes in? Well, Shannon and Cody certainly didn't. That is, until they spend the summer with Uncle Neal. With their parents away in Pakistan with Doctors Without Borders, the two children are sent from their New Jersey home to stay with Uncle Neal in Seattle. The children have no idea what Neal's new job is all about. Nervous at first, the children are soon helping with the rescues. If you have ever wondered about what happens to wild animals when they are injured or orphaned, than this is the book for you! (http://nancykeane.com/booktalks/hobbs_jackie%27s.htm)
