I read the book Finest Kind by Lea Wait. The book was about a family that is from Boston, Massachussets. They move to a raty old place in Wiscasset, Maine. This raddy old place was meant to be their new home. Father gets a job that takes him away from home. The older boy named Jake that is twelve years old has to take care of his family and find food to survive in the cold hard Maine winter. If you want to know what happens read Finest Kind and find out. I recommend this book to everyone even adults. This book is the finest kind.
